About the project
Asai
A commercial project in Mérida, Yucatán (2022). The concept seeks to create different atmospheres with a natural color palette: traditional beige jícara gourds are repeated as a design element and give the space rhythm and texture.
The main concept was to create different atmospheres, generating a natural color palette while playing with shapes. For this reason, traditional beige jícaras (gourd bowls) were chosen as a design element, repeated organically to create an interplay of architectural elements that provide rhythm and texture.
