Polanco 31

A retail center in Colonia México, Mérida, Yucatán (2020), with double-height, north-facing shops. The project keeps parking separate from the pedestrian route and preserves the vegetation that already existed on the lot.

Polanco 31 is a commercial project with north-facing, double-height retail spaces, located in Colonia México, in the city of Mérida. Besides housing different businesses, this project seeks a compromise, a balance between the two positions, giving vehicles their place without letting them invade or obstruct the pedestrian path, and creating spaces for people and for the existing vegetation on the lot.
