The challenge
Achieving the best density the site allowed and creating a high-end product that stands out from the competition in its design.
The design decision
The aim was to make circulation more efficient, so 4 stair and elevator cores were created, opening onto compact lobbies on each level. This produced a scheme of 3 apartment towers connected through those cores, which helps give movement to the massing.
Materials
Main finishes and materials
Natural stone, natural wood, light-toned mineral and stone surfaces, glass, dark metal/aluminum, concrete and cementitious finishes, wood decks and cladding in sand, beige and cream tones.
Material palette
A warm, sophisticated composition of stone, wood, glass and metal, dominated by sand, cream and beige tones and contrasted with dark metal elements, in tune with the coastal landscape of Puerto Cancún.
Characteristic elements
Large glazed surfaces, stepped terraces, light stone materials and natural wood, seeking a continuous relationship between interiors, terraces, landscape and water.
